Having a full mind was a HUGE issue for me. It was like I had this crazy person in my head. I would just think up situations and scenarios that could happen. (anxiety)  I would spin my wheels on past mistakes and how I could have done better. (ptsd) I was struggling with focus. (stress) I couldn't turn the crazy off.  At night I would ruminate on all the things I should do, forgot to do, need to do, want to do.

Once I figured out I could turn that crazy lady off, in my head, my body slowly learned to be present and enjoy the moment. Now I'm  ZEN AF lolol

Words matter, words resonate energy, words can cut you. 

Internal dialog is a HUGE part of mind full. When we are constantly chattering with thought we have a mind full.

Let's explore Narrative Identity and Internal Dialog just a bit.

🙂 Internal Dialog

We also want to observe that voice in our head and make sure it's saying nice things.  We need to speak kindly to ourselves.  We need to tell the crazy to literally take 5 lol.

In an attempt to relax, to reduce the fight or flight response we need to be mindful,  aware of our internal dialog as this thought process triggers chemical responses.

We need to be kind and patient with ourselves.  New habits take time to form those new neuropathways.

Use these tricks to quiet your mind and body.

5 senses - check on your 5 senses and come into the present moment

Box breathing- in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4.
